Day 319

Today it was the turn to say bye bye to the poppies! They did not seem to flower for long, but I enjoyed looking at them whilst they lasted. This is what I have realised about where we live – the landscape changes so quickly that I am going to have to get out and […]

Day 318

The two youngest, by special request, are off to spend a weekend with granny and grandpa – they are so excited! They were very happy to be waved off, hugging their suitcases. We now have the pleasure of just having our eldest son at home – it will be so nice to spend some quality […]

Day 317

Today I am feeling every bit pregnant, bursting to pop and tired – but I did make it into my final college lesson where we played around with lights. Though I mainly sat and posed with my big bump, I did manage to get a couple of shots myself.

Day 315

The view on our way to nursery! As you can imagine, it was hard picking a shot for today’s photo, as there were so many gorgeous flower shots to choose from! If you look carefully, you can see Didcot chimneys in the distance.

Day 314

After picking the elderflowers last week, I made it into a cordial to be diluted with whatever you like. For me fizzy water, until perhaps the baby is born, then I may switch to something stronger! I wanted to photograph the finished product, but playing around in post process, this view of just the bubbles […]

Day 313

A very well meaning member of our family, I am banned from saying who, gave us a present for the baby today – a bed lined with sheepskin for the new born so I was told. However, upon opening it I had to suppress a giggle when I saw that it was actually a dog […]

Day 312

I am no gardener, especially these days with little kids and a big bump getting in the way of any bending, but I am chuffed to say that all these flowers in the jug came from my back garden! They were nice whilst they lasted (about half an hour before petals started dropping all over!)

Day 311

A fun birthday party to go to today with a talented face painter on hand who transformed my son into a dragon; here he is a few hours later with most of his dragon face still intact! There followed a mucky bathtime!

Day 310

The plan was to take a shot of the lilac poppies currently flowering in our neighbourhood, and I just took this wheat field as I stepped out of the van to go around to the other side…. but, I kinda like this shot, and hopefully I can get more shots of the poppies on another day.
