And the finished cake for Alexei’s birthday party. Thought he would be happy, but he was not impressed that the Peppa Pig and George were not made of icing!! A hard boy to please. he was happy with his party thankfully.

Happy 4th birthday little Alexei – what a fun day you have had. I am glad to see that out of all the presents you received, a little George pig is your favourite! Looking forward to your party tomorrow. Remember we love each other.

Farewell to my little funky kitchen that holds many memories for us; it saw us through our newly wed years as well as the first year of our eldest son.

This one is definitely just for the diary of events! Panto at Oxford – a treat for Alexei’s impending birthday (but that’s just a convenient excuse really). What a lovely day out, though Alexei wasn’t sure about the Wicked Witch –  made him nervous! She was superb, however.
