Day 324

Though I am obviously taking lots of pictures of my baby girl, I think I need to not let them take over my blog and I can always take more. So, although I had a few of my little angel, I present here a vase of flowers that my lovely friend Sarah gave to us […]

Day 323

Today Alexei had a taster of big school; he was SO EXCITED – can you tell? He can’t wait to go back, and to think we have a long summer ahead before he starts properly. Luckily, meanwhile, he has a new sister to distract him.

Day 322

So day 319 saw the arrival of our baby daughter – a bit of a surprise after three boys, but then again perhaps not so much as I did have a feeling and she came early! She is obviously going to shake things up around here. The boys are smitten, as are we. (Glad I […]

Day 321

Today the rain returned, but on my way to meet Granny and the youngest kids, I briefly stopped to capture the wheat fields as they are so lush and vibrant and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity, knowing that imminently  I might be out of action for a while. It was raining too much to […]

Day 320

Another day in a quiet house and the lack of chaos is letting me relax, but I still feel so tired…. so I am trying to conserve my energy! Today I spent a couple of hours cleaning my camera – first making it worse and trying not to panic, and then suddenly finding it was […]

Day 319

Today it was the turn to say bye bye to the poppies! They did not seem to flower for long, but I enjoyed looking at them whilst they lasted. This is what I have realised about where we live – the landscape changes so quickly that I am going to have to get out and […]

Day 318

The two youngest, by special request, are off to spend a weekend with granny and grandpa – they are so excited! They were very happy to be waved off, hugging their suitcases. We now have the pleasure of just having our eldest son at home – it will be so nice to spend some quality […]

Day 317

Today I am feeling every bit pregnant, bursting to pop and tired – but I did make it into my final college lesson where we played around with lights. Though I mainly sat and posed with my big bump, I did manage to get a couple of shots myself.

Day 315

The view on our way to nursery! As you can imagine, it was hard picking a shot for today’s photo, as there were so many gorgeous flower shots to choose from! If you look carefully, you can see Didcot chimneys in the distance.
