Today I am feeling every bit pregnant, bursting to pop and tired – but I did make it into my final college lesson where we played around with lights. Though I mainly sat and posed with my big bump, I did manage to get a couple of shots myself.

Stopping en-route from nursery to enjoy the poppies

The view on our way to nursery! As you can imagine, it was hard picking a shot for today’s photo, as there were so many gorgeous flower shots to choose from! If you look carefully, you can see Didcot chimneys in the distance.

After picking the elderflowers last week, I made it into a cordial to be diluted with whatever you like. For me fizzy water, until perhaps the baby is born, then I may switch to something stronger! I am no gardener, especially these days with little kids and a big bump getting in the way of any bending, but I am chuffed to say that all these flowers in the jug came from my back garden! They were nice whilst they lasted (about half an hour before petals started dropping all over!)

A fun birthday party to go to today with a talented face painter on hand who transformed my son into a dragon; here he is a few hours later with most of his dragon face still intact! There followed a mucky bathtime!

The plan was to take a shot of the lilac poppies currently flowering in our neighbourhood, and I just took this wheat field as I stepped out of the van to go around to the other side…. but, I kinda like this shot, and hopefully I can get more shots of the poppies on another day.

38 weeks today and becoming very big… a bit of a cliched shot, but nice to document the remaining weeks/days whilst baby is still inside. Let’s see if it is in or out at week 39 – I suspect inside.

I had a few hours to try to catch up with things today, before the impending birth, but it was so nice and sunny that I couldn’t resist “working outdoors”
