During a couple of hours spent at Henley On Thames, shooting landscapes showing different perspectives, some people nearby threw some bread out for the gulls, who hovered in front of me. Without having time to change my camera settings, I snapped these birds, and the slow shutter speed I think gives an arty feel to the picture.
Wow, that is just beautiful…the birds look cool on that background.
Thank you – it is nice to get unexpected shots when the aim of the day had been for something different!
love this – v arty!! Their wings look amazing. Like little ghosts. I didn’t get anything worthwhile – except from a “demonstrating perspective” point of view.
What shutter speed were you on for this?
1/4 sec at f/22 – the settings I was using for our perspective shots!
I also really only got the demonstration shots apart from shadows nor atmospheric …… oh well, lets hope next week is an improvement.
