Poppies
We normally see lots of poppies around now, but, for some reason, this year there are no poppy fields blanketing the landscape in carpets of red or purple. However, there are a few wild poppies I have seen to admire and feed my addiction.

Ah, but a month or two ago in central Texas we had fields of white prickly poppies:

Beautiful! I have never seen white poppies, but would like to now.
You can start planning for your trip to Texas next spring to see them.
