2014 Week 52 Day 5 – Today I had a good tidy up after the Christmas madness, whilst Paul was off helping his uncle move house, and as the kids were having fun playing with their new toys. Eventually though, I persuaded them to leave the house and get some fresh air as it was a beautiful sunny winter’s day. We walked through the village and over the river to the hotel, as it was the only place open.

There we enjoyed hot chocolate and chips and Barnaby tried to teach me yu-gi-oh. I came away none the wiser!
