Day 360

On my last day of having just the baby for a window of two hours, I decided to take a walk over the river and into Streatley. My husband was feeling poorly today and so he decided to work at the hotel nearby instead of from his office. We had a quick walk around the […]

Day 358

The lure of the wheat fields is strong as my project draws to a close. I had two hours alone with the baby today whilst the boys went to a dance class (!!), so I went for a little walk to settle her. Of course, she slept during the walk and woke up as soon […]

Day 357

Although it is the holidays, I convinced Barnaby that some brain teasers would be good to do. After initially grumbling, he soon got in to it and did really well. The promise of receiving the other Olympic mascot might have had something to do with swaying him!

Day 356

We headed off to Beale Park for a few hours today. This cockerel must have heard about the boys chasing the geese around earlier and not been happy about it, as he hopped on this fence just above the ‘No Entry’ sign as we came up – and hollered at us as we walked off. […]

Day 355

Had a lovely day today with big sis and her family, celebrating her birthday. We even managed to get out for a walk in the beautiful afternoon sunshine with the rays of light bursting through the clouds. And congratulations to Andy Murray and Ben Ainslie for for todays gold medals for team GB.

Day 353

We had a busy day at a friend’s house today. And apart from a scary moment in the swimming pool having to fish one over confident son out of the water, the boys had a blast and came home very happy and very tired. A little snooze in the car, however, affected their willingness to […]

Day 352

I spent a few lovely hours with just my eldest child and my baby today – it was lovely. Of course, the outing involved buying a present for Barnaby, and as he is Olympic mad, he wanted todays photographic subject to be Wenlock, his treat. We decided that the olympic mascot would enjoy seeing our […]

Day 351

So it was our wedding anniversary on 23rd july and I thought that my picture for that day would be easily sorted.  Twas not to be though, as my husband seemed a bit stressed with work – coming home late and empty handed!!. Eight days later, some flowers appeared. Freesias. Like we had at our […]
