Day 310

The plan was to take a shot of the lilac poppies currently flowering in our neighbourhood, and I just took this wheat field as I stepped out of the van to go around to the other side…. but, I kinda like this shot, and hopefully I can get more shots of the poppies on another day.

Day 309

38 weeks today and becoming very big… a bit of a cliched shot, but nice to document the remaining weeks/days whilst baby is still inside. Let’s see if it is in or out at week 39 – I suspect inside.

Day 305

It was a busy day today. But now I have dropped off the two eldest at friend’s for a sleepover, my husband is away preparing to be an iron man tomorrow, and my youngest is sleeping soundly upstairs. Time for an evening with my friends Ben & Jerry!

Day 304

Granny came up for the day and she and Alexei went elderflower picking so that we can make elderflower cordial. Here are the flowers with Alexei washing the bugs off before we leave them to steep with, mainly, sugar.

Day 303

So for those of you who have followed my photo blog thus far, you will be aware that on days 100 and 200 I posted a view of the same house (but have not kept to the same focal length). The house was burnt down in a fire and the rebuild was in full swing […]

Day 302

Today I have reached the 37 week mark which technically means I am full term, though I cannot imagine any baby of mine coming early, or even on the due date, so think I still have a few weeks more. Phew, lots to do…..

Day 301

We normally see lots of poppies around now, but, for some reason, this year there are no poppy fields blanketing the landscape in carpets of red or purple. However, there are a few wild poppies I have seen to admire and feed my addiction.
