2014 Week 30 Day 4 – Didcot Power Sation. Blot on the landscape, or part of the local heritage? When I first moved to this area I thought the former. Having lived here for 14 years, I have come to grow very fond of it, and so think of it as the latter! Tomorrow three towers known as Dicot A are due to be demolished. I will go and watch from my usual vantage point, so not that close, but maybe that’s a good thing, as I don’t want to be covered in dust!
Meanwhile, tonight I went out to take my last ever photos of the power station as it currently stands.
I then went to the supermarket to get some supplies and it was properly dark when I returned, and so I decided to take another just to experiment with my settings for the morning. This was 2 seconds at f/45 and ISO 25600!!!
Beautiful light in these 🙂
Thank you. I deliberately underexposed those late evening shots to get the effect.
