2015 Week 9 Day 5 – This post is dedicated to my beautiful sister-in-law, Karin, who reads this blog avidly! She is very funny and is always laughing and always looks gorgeous and so young still! Annoying π We had a final lunch here in the cafe before they took the train up to London […]
2015 Week 9 Day 4 – One of the reasons for Paul’s family coming over this weekend, was to run in the local 10k race organised as a fundraiser by the school. We have a great view point of the start from our front garden! And it is great that an old school friend of […]
2015 Week 9 Day 3 – Such a busy day today, even more so than usual on a Saturday. Last night our guests from Poland arrived, but I didn’t get to see them until later as I was in and out on football and tennis duty. Also, between all this, Alexei had a drama rehersal […]

2015 Week 8 Day 7 – Barnaby played in a school mixed 5-a-side tournament today and guess what? They won! He did some fantastic saves and his team mates scored some great goals too and played so well together, especially considering they had never played as a team before.
2015 Week 8 Day 6 – I am not getting on too well with Deliciously Ella’s recipe book, the brownies are perhaps an acquired taste? However, this pineapple, mango and coconut smoothie was delicious, perhaps justΒ lacking some rum to make it truly amazing π
2015 Week 8 Day 5 – A sad day today, as we lost our last pet Lotka. We were Lotka’s carers, having inherited her and her companion Max from my husband’s mother when she passed away. She was a beautiful dog – here in a lot of pain but still looking so serene – even […]
2015 Week 8 Day 4 – Barnaby and his dad worked together to build a wooden car for a race the cubs are holding soon. Here is Barnaby proudly painting it.
