Week 4 Day 1 – Another shot of baby girl at bathtime. She is obsessed with these cups.
This was actually my intended day 1 photo as I have many shots from bath time, but I forgot to upload it to my 365 project! We are trying to play more chess and so Alexei received a set for his birthday which has the instructions for each piece on the board. Genius. I don’t think it will be long before the boys beat me, so for now I am enjoying my winning status.
Week 4 Day 2 – Thursdays are yet another day that has turned manic for us after school. I have to take my eldest to another village for an hour and we are left entertaining ourselves for that time. Here I snuck in a shot from the amazing garden we were in. I only had my macro 100mm lens, so unfortunately the beautiful vista was cropped, but my little monkey enjoyed the view.
Week 4 Day 3 – Willow is very confident at walking down the stairs on her own. However, she is rarely left to do so alone. This scene makes me laugh as it reminds me of the poster shot for Resevoir Dogs!
You can see that she was happier once the boys joined her, than on her own with me pointing a camera at her!
Week 4 Day 4 – Having such an important birthday as your 6th, means that the celebrations go on and on and on….
Oh, I think the other tables around us loved us and the balloon action!
Week 4 Day 5 – Cheeky upside down girl
Week 4 Day 6 – I was hoping to take pictures with slow shutter speeds but I didn’t really manage to get anything of interest. This is cropped right in to show her dancing legs. Not much movement detected but I like her poise. Week 4 Day 7 – Even toddlers have their downtime to reflect on the injustices of their lot.
And finally, I managed to take pictures of each of the children. Quick snaps, but nice to get. Barnaby was actually in the dark checking out some glow item, and so his one is purely powered by flash within a pitch black room – hence his startled expression!
lovely – love the chess one. It does push you to take more photos huh – I wouldnt have taken one yesterday without this project but am so glad I did as I am normally rubbish at capturing my parents with the children.
Thanks – yes it is pushing me more to take photos and I am enjoying it more so than 2 years ago when I found it really hard to take one each day. And you do get photos that otherwise you wouldn’t have thought about.
