2014 Week 52 Day 1 – Christmas Eve. Wow. It is here again; that came around fast! Sadly for us, it means the last we will see of Twinkle for this year. The little elf took to glitter glue and wrote us a farewell message. Aaahh, we will miss her and her antics!
After a day of trying to manage uncontrollably excited kids, we went to the church carol service and then onto the annual Torchlit procession, where residents from the two village that sit either side of The Thames, walk with their wax candles, to a joint meeting point and sing carols around a bonfire. The kids have grown to enjoy this and now really look forward to it. And for us, it is a chance to see our friends – those whom we see regularly and others whom we only seem to bump into on this night!
Of course it was another late night for the children, but I am hoping that means that they will wake up late!! But finally now they are in bed and Santa has come and eaten some food and drunk some milk…
and done the main business at hand and filled the stockings!
I can’t believe that I am actually up to date with my blog this year! I am very happy about that. And all that remains for me and my family is to say:
That is SO efficient to have blogged this already!!! Merry Christmas x
Merry Christmas hope you had a good one! Well done for all your posts too. x
